I've cultured milk products for over 3 decades and I don't EVER want to be without this yogurt maker! Yogourmet makes excellent products with consistant results, far superior to the others available. Try the CBA yogurt culture and buy an extra batch jar, because you will eat far more of this yogurt than you ever thought. Try the Yogourmet Kefir culture too, (no yogurt maker needed)--you'll be glad you did! TWO UPDATES: The digital thermometer, which is now standard, is terrible (see my other reviews), buy a different one. The free 101 Things to do With Yogurt cookbook is very so-so. It is not published or written by Yogourmet, in case there was confusion about this point. Absolutely the best yogurt maker, period!
